A down-to-Earth sci-fi road trip, The Book of Constellations is a story about Rael, who claims to be the sole survivor of an alien race, as told by Simon, the man who went with him. On a quest to save humanity from the same malevolent force that destroyed his own people, Rael believes this “Darkness” resides in the Governor of the state. Rael makes his way west to the Capitol armed with nothing bu... more

Very well told story, it shows a world that could be but 🤷♂️ 🤞
Beautiful story, amazing narration and dreamy production.
I listen to a LOT of fiction podcasts, and rarely do I opt for single narratives. So few narrators are able to capture the voice of all the story’s characters. But this one, this is perfection!
The story is gorgeous and it’s told beautifully.
Don’t stop, y’all!
Please!
I had no idea what I was journeying into. But was so pleasantly surprised when the true message started coming into view. Very cool! Wish more people would hear it, could be a lovely way to open eyes.
While I appreciate the message of being nice and seeing the positive things this story really feels written with these usual topics in mind.Sadly, it is written very preachy on the nose and especially episode 7 makes it so cliche. But it's not just that. The first episode has the right pacing but the rest feels written like for a TV show going scene by scene whereas more telling would've been the better choice. Good acting and music though.
A truly unique story. AMAZING !!!!
He (Keith) surely grows on me. I felt The Love Talker to be a bit too much, but in retrospect I understand better. This show, however, got me from the first episode. It is a story told as a very exciting and emotional book, I would have loved to read it, before I discovered the audio drama. I am currently listening to An Invisible Sun, and althoughnot as exciting (yet), it follows Keith’s path in creating complex and interesting stories. I hope he continues doing this for a long time.
I have come to the abrupt end of the podcast! I love this show so much. Nothing else has made me feel more hope and grace. I foolishly didn’t check to see how many “Chapters and verses” there are B4 listening. The show has come to an end. Nothing since 2022. This pod is true story adjacent. It tells the story of anger, fear, frustration, darkness and hopelessness of this very moment!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE START THIS UP AGAIN’ I looked so forward to every next episode.
This is a great heartwarming story but it is also filled with intrigue and combat. Totally unique within this space. I couldn’t say better things about it.
I feel like this would be a great listen for an eighth grade class, or a book club. Heavy on the messaging, but an interesting premise. I listened to this during the same time I was streaming ‘3 Body Problem’ so the whole topic of extraterrestrials and humanity was thought-provoking for me, in different ways. It’s worth a listen. I think it will make conversation, whether you like it or if you don’t. The writer is heart-felt and does a great job with this; I enjoy his audio works.
Cozy. That's a quick way to summarize how I felt listening to this show. A surprising feeling given the topic, for sure. Listen and see what you think.
Sooooooo good!
Touching & fantastical story that left me wishing Rael was Real. We could really use someone like him today. Wonderfully executed story telling that reminds us to hold caring, compassion and basic humanity as our most valuable abilities. The Book of Constellations reminds us that people are complicated…but all we need to do, is love EVERYONE.
Thoughtful and sensitive story. The action is exciting, but the message is the point. Oddly, despite being “message-driven,” this story doesn’t feel preachy or dogmatic.
The main character is not from this world, yet he seems so human, & so vulnerable that I felt attached as if he were a real person. I cared about the characters and worried when their adventures took them into danger.
I’ve listened to over a dozen excellent podcasts, but this is the first one I have shared, the first one I need... more
A great start ; a high calibre production Compelling storyline, captivating performances. I am thoroughly enjoying this show .
This storyline is coincidentally incredibly poignant right now. As of November 2023 we are witnessing a ‘darkness’ that is covering the land. A dark force not contained to the Middle East. A force contaminating the worlds political leaders. We need a Reallife Rael .
