  • Most entertaining dawgs pod of ‘em all

I love the fact that HG and Boss are not alums of uga but have adopted the dawg family! Their fandom is paired with knowledgeable insight and quality podcasting! Their guests are always entertaining and the intro song is A-MA-ZING. I’ve searched the net and cannot find anything about the song. It’s professionally produced and lyrically fantastic and should be made available on iTunes and other music platforms. Love their insights and the informative interviews every week! A must-listen for ever... more

Geoff Collins' College Football Odyssey: From Walk-On to Head Coach
Q: What advice would you give a young walk-on or aspiring coach facing adversity and external pressure?
Believe in yourself, maintain consistent standards, find a trusted inner circle (especially your spouse), and avoid letting outside noise dictate your path; focus on controllables like effort, attitude, and lifting others.
Geoff Collins' College Football Odyssey: From Walk-On to Head Coach
Q: As you moved up, what mentors influenced your philosophy and how did you reconcile their approaches with your own style?
I learned from several legendary coaches, but I kept seeking models closer to my personality, ultimately synthesizing their organizational rigor with my authentic energy and social media presence to define my head-coach approach.
Geoff Collins' College Football Odyssey: From Walk-On to Head Coach
Q: Tell us about the early walk-on days and how that mindset shaped your approach to coaching.
The walk-on mindset ingrained a habit of earning every opportunity, avoiding entitlement, and treating no job as too small, which became the foundation of how I built programs and led players.
Montana Football's New Era with Head Coach Bobby Kennedy
Q: When a freshman walks into your position room, what is the first thing you want them to learn that has nothing to do with football?
Imprinting on them a mindset of attention to detail, being present, and treating everyone with respect, so they understand they are the most important thing when they come into the office and that their personal growth matters as much as their on-field development.
Montana State Head Coach Brent Vigen | Playoff Brawl of the Wild, Bobcat Culture & Program Standards
Q: How do you strategize to recruit and develop players who fit the identity of Montana State football?
The strategy begins with local talent, emphasizing character and the importance of being part of something larger.
