  • Too much lead time

I clicked into this expecting something my kids would enjoy listening to it... however there is such a long intro that is directed at parents. We never got to the actual kid content because my kids didn’t want to listen to all of that and I couldn’t fast forward enough times to find it.

S9Ep10: Mike Nawrocki and Steve Taylor - Dead Sea Squirrels CyberSquirrels
Q: Mike, for those who aren't aware, maybe they've been living in the Dead Sea's cave. Can you give us the elevator pitch for the series?
The Dead Sea Squirrels follows a 10-year-old Michael who discovers two ancient squirrels that awaken and share wisdom with him and his friends, blending adventure, faith, and lessons about family, integrity, and discovery across modern Tennessee and biblical settings.
S9Ep15: God of Wonders from Dominique Okonkwo
Q: What would you say to parents who want to instill biblical values but don't know where to start?
Dominique advises starting small and consistent—prayer at meals and bed, reading faith-based stories, and getting kids plugged into a kids' church or community to build early biblical habits.
S9Ep15: God of Wonders from Dominique Okonkwo
Q: Do you have the book there that you can read some?
Dominique reads from the book to give listeners a sense of the rhymes, imagery, and how the text connects to the visual storytelling that helps kids grasp the science-faith integration.
S8Ep13: Time for Courage
Q: Where can listeners connect with you online and learn more about Time for Courage?
Rob Currie's website is www.robcurrieauthor.com; he notes the spelling of Currie as C-U-R-R-I-E and mentions availability of his books wherever books are sold.
S8Ep13: Time for Courage
Q: Rob, I would love to hear more about your father's World War II experience and whether it influenced your writing of A Time for Courage or Hunger Winter.
His father served stateside, repairing planes, but his influence came from being an avid reader of WWII books which seeded Rob's own interest and shaped his belief in heroic, imperfect figures who nevertheless inspire others; he also cites mentors and a culture of reading at home as important influences.
