Absolutely a fan because Ben and Jessica practice what they preach! This is a truly a hub for balanced, unbiased, fair conversations about parenthood, and I’ve just learned so much already. I give this my highest review and I recommend for all kinds of people. Also, it’s really enjoyable listening to a husband and wife duo who have the utmost care in working together to strengthen their marriage and their kids.
It’s so nice to have a parenting show that showcases a balanced approach to everything! Ben and Jessica are excellent speakers, while also being fun and personable. Love listening to them and their wide range of topics! Also, they don’t dive into religion often, but I really enjoy hearing how their faith impacts their approach to parenting!
Great advice from a “normal”couple.
Just finished episode 3 and loved it when Ben said something along the lines of “I’m not going to cite a bunch of psycho-analytical stuff this time - we’ve read the literature, been married several years, we have 3 kids, and have taught thousands of students as educators” (totally paraphrased)
Down to earth practical advice, not complicated, but still full of knowledge and wisdom.
Highly Recommend!
I really enjoyed the episode “Anxious Parents Raising Anxious Kids.” I love that they highlighted current cultural trends as well as ways to focus on your own internal work as a parent, modeling healthy emotional processing, and building joy and peace in the home. Definitely recommend!
Such useful and needed information done in an interesting and fun way! Jessica and Ben have such an amazing dynamic that keeps you hooked from the beginning. I wish I would’ve had this type of resource available when I was pregnant and starting a family.
