The mastery of characters is unquestionable, and the way it blends reality with the more fantastical elements in season 2 is frankly awe inspiring.
When I first heard of this podcast, I believed it to be a cheap clone of the magnus archives. Let me assure you all, this podcast surpasses the magnus archives in all manner of character development, wonder and joy. It thawed my frozen heart just to snap it in half.
So many wonderful things about this podcast. Happy that someone made this piece of art and that it exists.
Great urban fantasy with a tinge of horror. Touching depiction of mental illness in all its messiness, nice queer respesentation, interesting worldbuilding. Engaging on every level.
I’m really interested in this podcast the concept and the writing is really good but the audio is very quiet. I have to turn up the volume all the way and even then it’s still quiet I have to pause it every time I walk by a car or leaf blower or anything making a lot of noise on my walk.
So I think I was 4 episodes in thinking this would be a good background anthology podcast. But I had to go back and relisten because the monologues are dramatic, well-written, and relatable. The characters get better as they’re more fleshed out.
My only issue is the levels and audio quality. I have my headphones at 90% volume and have a hard time hearing.
Looking forward to finishing up the series and hoping for a season 2.
