  • This Podcast Goes There, Eh?

As a Canadian who (tragically) moved to the States, I’ve struggled to find other adults who proudly love Degrassi without shame. Enter this podcast. The hosts are absolute perfection and every episode makes me feel like I’m just hanging out with my friends talking about the greatest teen drama of all time. They’re smart, hilarious, and totally unapologetic in their love for the show, which makes me feel a little less alone in mine. If you grew up on Degrassi, this podcast will feel like home.

  • Enjoyable, thorough, and nostalgic all wrapped into one

I rarely write reviews on anything, especially podcasts. However, I want to echo what other people have said that this podcast is all-consuming in every possible way. I can’t stop thinking about it and I keep challenging myself to listen more and more everyday until I am all caught up. Ironically, I started rewatching Degrassi a few months ago and coming across this podcast was just the cherry on top. Like all of us it is a very busy season of life for me and I hadn’t watched in over a week. Upo... more

E101 - You Gave Me a Social Disease! (Emma Nelson)

E101 - You Gave Me a Social Disease! (Emma Nelson)
Q: Why did she choose Spinner?
The hosts discuss how Emma's rapid choice to marry Spinner reflects her desire for control and a project to manage, despite their lack of prior interactions.
E203: When In Doubt, You Kiss (Craig Manning)
Q: Do you think Craig would have stayed a present father if Manning had kept the baby?
No, at such a young age, it's unlikely he would have been present or capable of being a good father, given his own struggles and immaturity.
E203: When In Doubt, You Kiss (Craig Manning)
Q: Was Craig supposed to be bipolar or was it a happy accident?
It's likely a happy accident that became more intentional as the character developed; the writers may not have planned it early on but the portrayal resonates with the reality of his experiences.
E203: When In Doubt, You Kiss (Craig Manning)
Q: If Craig was first introduced on Next Class, what do you think his story would have been?
His story would likely mirror his struggles with mental health and relationships, possibly exploring a more modern context of his issues, but still retaining the core challenges he faced on Degrassi.
