As someone who doesn’t play RPGs , I find myself fully immersed in the city of Chicago. The story telling is so intriguing and funny. They’ve put a lot of work into the character development and flow of this show. I’ve been listening since day one and love every min of it! I’d recommend this to someone who loves the genre and people who have never played in it before. It’s no wonder they’ve won so many awards!
Okay, so far I’ve only listened to the Preludes and am currently starting on the first episode, but I love what I’m hearing so far. I’ve always loved V:TM, almost exclusively play/run it, and this looks like quite the treat. I’ve come to the podcast through a Facebook ad and I’m so glad to have taken a chance on it. The character work is superb and the Storyteller has a mesmerizing, honeyed voice that adds depth to every scene. Fantastic work and I hope this goes on for quite awhile.
It’s honestly hard to choose where to start with praise for The All Night Society because I have so much of it. It is a phenomenal Vampire: The Masquerade actual play podcast that slowly seduces you with expert, wicked craft. The players embody their characters wonderfully, the chemistry between all of them and the Storyteller is peerless... it is a delight for the ears and for the mind. The story takes its time and gives the members of the coterie plenty of time to grapple with their inner demo... more
