Lynn’s interview style is good, she relates to all of her subjects on a personal level.
But - how she managed to interview Gaby Dalkin and not scream into the microphone over the constant fidgeting and bracelets moving, is beyond me. Why post an interview with someone that is such a terrible interviewee? This is not the first time that Gaby has ruined an interview by playing with her damn jewelry the entire time.
I can’t escape how much the voice of the presenter detracts from how enjoyable this series could be. She sounds irritable, dismissive and accusatory - almost as if the interviewee has unsatisfactory answers or ideas she doesn’t agree with.
The conversation with Sandra oh touched me deeply and brought me back where my former BF “not forever” and I back in the day where we would sit and talk on and on for hours, then changed subjects and we connected in many scales. It’s amazing and interesting how Sandra’s voice created such a calm and relax atmosphere ever! I listened to them 4 times in one day at some point and always coming back again for the nostalgia!
such a comforting podcast!! I've been listening to this podcast for almost a year. It's just great to get information about foods in different cultures and areas. enjoying every episodes and can't wait to listen the next one too!!!
Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Lynn!
