This podcast covers an absolutely astonishing range of species - if you like tetrapods, living or extinct, this is the show for you. Darren and John have their own brand of humor, and they cover current zoology news, conferences, paleo art, obscure groups of animals, cryptozoology, and even popular media with wit and insight. I appreciate having both a scientific (from Darren) and artistic (from John) perspective, and I have been fascinated by their discussions about writing popular science book... more
I want to love this podcast, and the parts that are on topic are generally quite good, but they veer off into stuff that just ruins it for me. They might read this review and think I am some backwards young earther who hates foreigners and science, which is exactly the problem.
I loved the content, the presenters are pleasant and interesting guys. This could have been perfect. However the one presenter keeps clearing his throat loudly every few seconds/minutes and I could not stand listening to that. Therefore sadly I will not listen again.
