A fun show! I enjoy the excitement and pleasure the group has exploring together!
This is the way table top role playing games should be. Fun with friends who you don’t have to worry about offending. This is why most of us started role playing in the first place. Love this podcast. Thanks for making this fun!
A delightful show with so much heart and wit
Juvinile naughty humor by adults. Experienced DM. Novice players. Lots of giggles.
I just finished up a binge of *every* Tavern Tales episode and am all caught up now. What a BLAST it was to deep dive in to every story! TT makes you feel like you’re sitting around the table with your old friends—it’s comfortable and funny and warm. Kyle is an excellent DM and storyteller and the players are always a joy—I love the development of their characters and the care that goes in to making them come alive. I really could go on and on.
Don’t miss out on this show! Take a listen, sit ba... more
I have been enjoying this podcast for a while, sometimes it's good, other times it's great!
Once in a while it feels like they are trying too hard to be an entertaining podcast instead of just being a d&d show, but for the most part it's hella good.
Would listen again.
Tavern Tales is telling a great story with a good cast and crew. Join in and grab a seat in the Tavern.
This is such a fun podcast! The players all do a really great job whisking you away on fun and interesting adventures.
Tavern Tales is a great series of D&D 5e game sessions. Or really it is two series: Tavern Tales (releasing most weeks), and Tavern Tales Junior (once a month). The DM of both is Kyle, who uses some cool custom rules to empower his players to contribute more to the story, in particular "story motes" that replace the normal inspiration mechanic.
Tavern Tales features a refreshingly rotating cast of characters, playing through alternating adventures from the Tales of the Yawning Portal and the Dun... more
I love tavern tales junior not just because I know the people in it but also because the audio is edited with quite skill.
I enjoy this live play podcast worthy of the review!
Need to hear more from the younger one.
I love all DnD !
You can trust me.
Perhaps I'm a bit biased.
