今回はSNSで話題になったあるnoteの記事をご紹介します。いまや「推し活」は、日本人の生活に溶け込んだ祝祭的行為となっています。15歳から79歳までの3人に1人が、アイドルやアニメキャラ、俳優などに情熱と資金を投じているというデータもあるほど。しかし、そんな中でひときわ静かな層が存在します。高学歴・高所得層――彼らはなぜ、推し活という熱狂の輪に加わらないのでしょうか？
「幸せな人生を送るために必要なものは何か？」。この問いに対して、ハーバード大学が85年以上もの間、途切れることなく追い続けてきた研究があります。数百人の人生を長期的に追跡し、健康、収入、学歴、名声など、あらゆる要素を比較した結果、最も強く幸福度と相関していたのは意外にも「人間関係」でした。

私たちは普段、「一貫した自分」でいることが良いとされがちです。でも実際には、職場の自分、友人といる自分、家族の前の自分は、どれも微妙に違っているはずです。この人格の切り替えを「裏表がある」「本当の自分じゃない」と否定的に捉える人もいますが、実はそれこそが人間に最初から備わっている機能なのかもしれません。実は、「自分らしさ」とは、ひとつの固定されたキャラではなく、複数の人格を使い分けられる柔軟性そのものなのではないでしょうか。

一番初めに聴いたエピソードはインドカレー屋が潰れない理由の回です🍛自分が仕事柄インドと縁が深いのでインドに関するエピソードを検索して片っ端から聴いていたら辿り着きました。ちなみに同年代の39歳です。
