「うまい鰻をおなかいっぱい」を掲げ、2022年に横浜で誕生した「鰻の成瀬」。職人を必要としない仕組みとフランチャイズ展開を武器に、わずか3年で約400店舗まで急拡大し、外食業界の風雲児として注目を集めました。しかし、2025年秋頃から閉店が相次ぎ、半年ほどで100店舗以上が減少。さらに運営会社は、評価額およそ1億円で身売りされる事態となりました。急成長を支えたビジネスモデルに、いったい何が起きたのでしょうか。鰻の成瀬が失速した背景と今後の展望について考えてみました。

一番初めに聴いたエピソードはインドカレー屋が潰れない理由の回です🍛自分が仕事柄インドと縁が深いのでインドに関するエピソードを検索して片っ端から聴いていたら辿り着きました。ちなみに同年代の39歳です。
