  • When they finally get to their topic it’s good info…

I love the goals of this podcast. I like the beer information…

Unfortunately, they meander about with so much random garbage before they get to their topic, it’s often a half an hour or more before I hear what I came to listen to.

Recently, I found that I am just stopping listening to episodes, because I just have to skip ahead too many darn times and I give up.

I don’t care about a check in about what everyone in the world is drinking while they’re listening to your podcast, just talk about the... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 308 - Smiggles Fest with Pontoon Brewing
Q: Which release are you most excited for attendees to try this year?
Craig and Tyler point to Real Slim Smiggles as the one attendees will talk about most due to its visual label and flavor concept, inspired by a Burnt Hickory cookie-oreo vibe.
Episode 308 - Smiggles Fest with Pontoon Brewing
Q: What is a Smiggles beer and why is it called Slim Smiggles this year?
Smiggles are basically sours with outrageous adjuncts, and Slim Smiggles is tied to the lighter, slim-can packaging this year plus the overall 'lightened' branding around the MoM theme, while still delivering bold flavors.
Episode 307 - von Trapp Brewing with Tom Everett
Q: How did your role at von Trapp Brewing come about, and how long have you been there?
Tom explains he moved to Vermont in 2012 to join von Trapp Brewing as assistant brewer and rose to Director of Brewing Ops over about 13 years, growing the operation from a basement setup to a 200-barrel production with a strong focus on lager quality.
Episode 304 - Adroit Theory Brewing with Mark Osborne
Q: How did Adroit Theory get started and why no flagship beer?
Mark explains the origin of the name, the idea of 'theory' beers, and a deliberate choice to reject flagship beers in favor of frequent, concept-driven releases to keep creativity alive.
Episode 302 - [LIVE] Montclair Brewery
Q: What does it mean for you to be one of New Jersey's black-owned craft breweries?
It feels significant to be one of the few, as we want to differentiate and represent our culture through our craft beers.
