I stumbled soon this podcast when Lardy Rich said they had reviewed CoC2. I’ve went back and listened to all of their shows. They give honest takes on games. And I love it when they bring up old obscure games you had no idea existed. The only problem is I’m buying a lot more games now than I have time to play. Great podcast with a couple of genuinely knowledgeable hosts. Keep it up guys.

A thoughtful, design-forward show that explores a wide range of tabletop games—from historical war games and RPGs to indie skirmish titles. Episodes balance practical play observations with in-depth design commentary, focusing on mechanics, balance, accessibility, and campaign structure. Listeners can expect discussions of solo play, card-driven systems, grid and hex-based play, and the way rules shape storytelling and strategy. A standout trait is the hosts' willingness to compare disparate systems, connect games to broader history and culture, and offer actionable takeaways for players, designers, and potential sponsors.
