今回のエピソードはチームタケトニーのほたるちゃんが初めて海外レースにいってきたとのことで、取材させてもらいました。
レースはGERES STAGE RACEといい、4月30~5月3日に開催された４日間のステージレースです。
場所はポルトガル。
山口からの移動方法や、レース前のびっくりするおもてなし、スタート前の雰囲気、夜の過ごし方、他の選手との交流、かかったお金など気になることをたくさん聞いています。

今回のエピソードはチームタケトニーが誇るお医者さん、マツモト先生がMt.FUJI100に参加してきたお話です。
実は去年も参加しましたが、早々にリタイア。
今回はリベンジに燃えています。
マツモト先生がマイラーを目指したのは10年前のこと。
医者というお仕事をされており、まともに練習できない時期もあったようです。
