Surrendering to God's calling for life can be hard to do, especially as the wife of a medical student, resident, fellow, or attending. Sarah's example of surrender in Genesis 12 shows how fruitful our lives can be when we choose to let go and obey God's call. Join us as we interview women in medical marriages striving to surrender like Sarah. We are SO glad you're here!

So many beautiful testimonies, encouraging women to look up even in the midst of challenging medical community life. These aren’t empty platitudes, they are real life stories from women who are walking the walk. They share the good, the bad, the messy, and the miraculous joy of the Lord that transcends our circumstances. I’m here for it!!!
I am an attending wife, married 26 years, and I LOVE this podcast. I appreciate the honesty and struggles the women are willing to share about the journey of being a medical wife. Although the hardest years are in training (with all of it being new and different and so many life changes) being done with training for 11 years now I can say the struggle is still real- you just get more used to it.
This podcast is wonderful and provides great insight into the lives of resident spouses. I’d love to hear from more guests that don’t yet have children as that’s a story many resident spouses walk, too!
I have often felt like this kind of wisdom was not available to me because of how niche my circumstances are as a resident’s wife, but these episodes have been so encouraging! I have related so much to each of the women that have been interviewed.
