- Excellent recitation with heartwarming older English translation
Marmaduke Pickthall was among the first Englishmen to embrace Islam. His translation though older is astounding and (though of course can never compare to the authentic Arabic) delivers a solemn inspiring tone. Using words like ye (for you) and thou as well as using Allah and not simply “God” like other translations do. May Allah ﷻ reward Pickthall may he be amongst the sabiqoon!
