  • All Stu, with none of the Dave

As a former Stu Does fan, this show is going to be my new home for Stu content. Smart move by putting ‘Does America’ over on Dave’s channel because the content over there is more appropriate to his audience.

  • Canned ads 👎

I understand you turning this show into an infomercial for your new endeavor, as annoying as that is and as much as I don’t care about “prediction markets.”

    BUT…..

PLEASE make the canned ads, that blast in over the content, STOP!!!!!!

I have already stopped listening to several other podcasts because the canned ads have become so intrusive. Don’t be the next to go.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Predictable: Legends - PredictIt’s John Aristotle Phillips
Q: Are prediction markets good for society and do they have utility?
Yes, they provide price discovery, engage citizens in the democratic process, and help distinguish factual information from misinformation, benefiting society as a whole.
Predictable: Legends - PredictIt’s John Aristotle Phillips
Q: Insider trading. Should it be legal and is it a problem?
Position limits and identity verification make insider trading extremely difficult and risky within PredictIt; offshore sites without such safeguards present the real risk.
Predictable: Legends - PredictIt’s John Aristotle Phillips
Q: Prediction markets, are they gambling?
No, in the legal sense they are not gambling sites; they are financial markets and should be regulated as such.
What a Week! Primary Election MADNESS and Spider-Man DOMINANCE
Q: Christian Jack asks about the strategy of low risk, high reward trades and how to identify them without overexposure.
Stu describes that true low-risk, high-reward opportunities are rare and often require careful risk management, such as entering small positions in potentially impactful races (e.g., Hailey Stevens in Michigan) and using tactics like laddering to lock in gains while maintaining upside potential.
What a Week! Primary Election MADNESS and Spider-Man DOMINANCE
Q: Christian from the premium subscriber chat asks how to approach low volume markets and low information markets with no polling.
Stu explains that polling alone is not sufficient; he looks for multiple indicators such as fundraising, fundamentals, demographics, and voter recognition. He suggests avoiding markets when evidence is weak and instead using marker positions to hedge or learn, emphasizing patience and diversification rather than forcing bets in uncertain markets.
