    I grew up in Bray, County Wicklow in Ireland, in the 80s, before my parents emigrated to the UK. I spent so much of my childhood in the Bray bookshop and I especially loved children’s fantasy. Narnia, Prydain, and then the early books of Alan Garner, Susan Cooper, Cormac Macraios, Orla Melling and Pat O’Shea.
