I’m so happy to see that this podcast is back! I’ve listened to a lot of storytelling podcasts and this one might be my favorite. The stories and hosts are great and I love the combination of 5-minute stories and shorter anonymous stories.
I listen to different story slam podcast and enjoy this one. Two critiques, though: hosts always do an intro that lasts for about ten minutes (too long) and 2) when there is music it is not worked in well and distracts to the point where sometimes, depending on the storyteller, drowns the person out. As I said, stories are good though
Great!
This is a super nice storytelling podcast that belongs in your queue. For me, they are the best Sunday afternoon listen, and a pleasant diversion from stress.
The Story Slam in Bristol is one of my favourite events, and I usually try and make it even though I live in Plymouth. It's an inclusive and uplifting event, and I'm delighted that I can enjoy it in podcast form! I missed my dads birthday to come to the slam in June 😳
Excellent podcast and a thoroughly lovely bunch of people. Keep it up!
Also the cakes there are amazing. I know you're not responsible for the cakes, but they really are excellent.
