  • Superb!

Really enjoyed these so far. I’m a fantasy fan so ‘The Imam and His Pirates’, ‘Ludmila and the Duckling’ and ‘Caveworm’ in particular were up my street. Generally with stories I tend to enjoy the sort of descriptive stuff, character backstory, world building etc. more than the main plot, that’s what really provides the sense of escape for me, and I think you’ve nailed that. Story #4 is also immersive. It makes the subject of Communist China accessible and exciting. The time travel aspect was handled well, the rules felt original, and the key! Damn. It was thought provoki... more

  • Brilliant

Closed my eyes and could picture each character in my head - on a cold rainy January day this was just perfect to disappear into.

Looking forward to the next Episode - well done Calum!

  • An absolute please on the ears

I listened to the first episode and was blown away. I went for a nice run and let the narrator take me away to a foreign land with his beautifully sown together words. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for a great short stories podcast.
