An ok podcast discussing the highs and lows of being a West Ham fan. This would probably be about 3rd or 4th on my list of hammers podcasts but still quite a good listen. All of the contributors are serious hammers and have a deep knowledge of the history of the club. Unfortunately they seem to know bugger all football itself with some ridiculous opinions and theories, especially the host. Don’t let this put you off though, there are worse ways to spend an hour ⚒
“Twenty four hours of just beautiful West-Ham-ness”. more
Genuinely funny podcast. As well as the laughs, the insights from Phil and Jim are often on the mark. Also, they are really nice blokes and happy to talk if you meet them.
I like this podcast. But, I find it very hard to listen when Professor Plum is on. His accent is so painfully contrived that with every syllable I fight the urge to turn off. Usually, I give in after two or three.
I listen to 3 or 4 West Ham podcasts each week, and if it is available, this is the first one I listen to. The games are reviewed from a fan’s perspective and provide some interesting angles that make you think, whilst also maintaining a sense of humour and not becoming too serious. I first started listening when I lived abroad in the Championship days, and although nothing will beat the Ricardo Vaz Te “correspondence” in my eyes, the season ticket e-mails are brilliant. Keep up the great work.
