A critical review and analysis of Showtime's Queer as Folk presented by two bitchy and sometimes jaded gay guys. Listen in as we take apart the stories, screenplays, characters and aspects of the show that haven't aged well. Nothing is off limits, be it music, costumes, sets, or acting. We're huge fans of the show, but you would probably never know it after listening to Still Queer as Folk. All fi... more

…why rewatch the eps, when you can just recap them.
I liked this pod, and found the hosts engaging…Matt is 30 (seems younger) and a thoroughly modern ‘mo (MEllennial with woke driven rage) while Patrick (who never aged himself, but I’d pin mid-50s) is that creepy old ‘mo who revels in stories of sexy shenigans in the early 90s, when gay culture wasn’t so mainstream, with his nods to the fact he’s done everything, done everyone, seen everything, experienced everything and he’s got a big dong app... more
I don’t why the hosts seems so defensive over some of the more negative feedback of the podcast, when it was definitely warranted. They come off as if, they’re podcast can’t be criticized because everything they say is a fact. It’s a little arrogant and amateurish. They didn’t seem to want to own up to the fact that, they pretty much fanboyed over the UK version of the show, and had fairly selective memories when it came to reviewing the US version, because of bias, I guess? Nothing is really wr... more
Somehow discovered the show for the first time this year (where have I been?!) and had the best time binging both the show and podcast. Patrick and Matt have such sharp and funny takes and I’m so sad that I just listened to the last podcast episode. Looking forward (and hoping) for another podcast from these guys. If you’re a queer as folk fan - either UK or US version you’ll enjoy it!
Had a great time listening to you! My all time fav show and when I found your podcast, I’m obsessed again. Loved hearing your opinions even though I disagreed a few times. Please do another show - I’m a fan!
