Q: What did filming the documentary teach you about yourselves and your lifestyle?
It was a learning experience that required us to adapt, be natural on camera, and trust a crew to guide storytelling, which helped us reflect on why van life feels meaningful and how sustainability and safety play into that.

Q: What were the biggest contrasts between 1903 travel and van life today?
Back then, travelers faced unpaved roads, no shelters, and lots of uncertainty; today we rely on planned routes, shelters, and a network of safety features in modern vehicles, which changes the whole travel experience.
