  • Try Hard Baseball Pod

Two guys trying too hard to be funny and entertaining but mostly failing. If Passan has great sources then that is something. But but they’re not funny and they have this podcast about baseball terms and don’t seem to understand that a dude ranks higher in the hierarchy than a guy. Unforgivable to me. But there are a lot of people who are good at something and also think they’re funny.

  • The very best!

The first episode was strong, but the second one – with Dave Roberts and John Schneider – was unreal. It’s genuinely one of the best podcast episodes I’ve ever heard, and I say that as a lifelong Yankees fan. I expected Passan to deliver a good show when he launched the podcast, but after the Roberts/Schneider episode, he might already have the best baseball podcast out there. Phenomenal work.

  • Inspired!

The interview with Schneids and Doc about the 2025 World Series was INSPIRED! As a Blue Jays fan it was sometimes difficult to listen to parts of the interview- but hindsight is 20/20 and time does lessen the sting (but only a little bit 🥴)

An historic series, an inspired interview, and wonderful camaraderie between the two managers.

Bravo Jeff!!! Looking forward to more episodes.
