Cheers to the Sound Affects podcast for highlighting the undisputed but oft ignored intersection of music and mental health. Through her exploration of diverse subjects relating to this theme, she and her interviewees share experiences, raise awareness, offer insights, and identify resources that are authentic and authoritative. A valuable addition to your podcast library.
This is a wonderful podcast - Katy is a professional counsellor and you can hear that in her excellent interview technique; she asks really insightful questions and actually listens to the answers! Rare for a podcaster!
My favourites were Alan McGee and the Oasis Podcast guy... what a pair of legends
This podcast is super interesting, doing a deep dive on all aspects of music and mental health. Because it's run by a psychotherapist the chat is really in-depth and talks around each subject in a way that fascinated me. I love that such big names in the music industry feature alongside psychotherapy experts. Loved it - would highly recommend.
