  • This podcast is accessible and game-changing

Your style is endearing and accessible. Let me explain. I downloaded every interview of Myron Golden I could find and then binge-listened. Of all those many interviews, your three - Ep 157, Ep 218, Ep 449 - are my favorites. (1) You are learning too, so I feel like YOUR peer rather than you being HIS peer in terms of the knowledge he’s sharing. That makes you approachable, like my friend. (2) The questions you’re asking, because you’re learning too, are the same questions I’m asking. Rather than... more

  • They need to be humbled

The last episode I listened to, they ranted about uber drivers and hotels for the first minutes. They need to be humbled. Neither one of their net worth exceeds 10 million. It was disgusting hearing them rip on working-class people.

How Chris Sain Built One of the Biggest Finance Communities Online
Q: What are you looking for when evaluating a company or a person to invest in?
He looks for people with high emotional intelligence, a scalable product, strong integrity, and the ability to see potential that others may not; alignment of values and the capacity to execute are key, and he also values the guidance he can provide to help them realize that potential.
Why Smart Entrepreneurs Are Quietly Getting Into Taxes | Social Proof Podcast
Q: What should new entrants focus on to sustain income beyond tax season?
Develop multiple revenue streams outside of tax season, such as digital courses, ebooks, boot camps, and coaching programs, and build a scalable business rather than just handling returns.
Why Smart Entrepreneurs Are Quietly Getting Into Taxes | Social Proof Podcast
Q: How does the service bureau model generate revenue?
It allows you to own or license software and earn a service bureau fee per tax return, which can be up to 99 dollars per filing, plus potential software-based royalties.
Why Smart Entrepreneurs Are Quietly Getting Into Taxes | Social Proof Podcast
Q: What is one thing that you implemented in your business that allowed you to go from 800,000 to 5 million?
I stopped winging it, invested in information and systems, paid for the right people to put in place, and built a team, which created a scalable model beyond just handling individual tax returns.
The Investor Test: The One Trait Every Millionaire Founder Has
Q: How do you evaluate a founder when considering an investment?
Look for drive and the ability to persevere; if the founder keeps coming back with compelling value propositions and demonstrates resilience, that signals potential. The presence of proof of concept, traction, and a clear path to revenue also matter, but the core is the founder's grit and willingness to adapt.
