  • A Bright Light in a Dismal World

Jett is an utter delight and her love and appreciation of the primetime soaps of the '80s is fabulous. I SAW all of them when they first aired (so I KNOW what's going to happen!) but Jett's reactions and observations are entertainment all by themselves! She is a very generous host, and very well prepared. The podcast is great fun and so is she!

  • Jett Rules 80s Soaps!

Jett’s unique perspectives and experiences make her podcast soap perfection! Whether you’re watching along with Jett for the first time, or feeling nostalgic- this is the place to hunker down and embrace the excesses of old-school melodrama.

  • Such a delight!

You are an amazing orator and such a delight to listen to. I have been a huge soap fan since I was a kid so these reviews take me back. You also point out things I missed out as it was so long ago. I’m so glad I found your podcast.

  • Turn down the background music please!

I love to hear your commentary but the background music, during your opening commentary is too loud. Can’t hear you at all.

  • I soo wanted to enjoy this pod…

…but I didn’t. I was a child in the 80s, so vaguely remember these shows but was too tong to watch or understand them. I have though, like the pod host, revisited the soaps of the 80s and enjoyed them - excellent storytelling, acting, drama, music, casting, the lot.

There’s sooo much fun to be had with these shows. However the hosts bland, expressionless, deadpan delivery ruins everything; although she proclaims delight in the soaps she’s watching, her tone actually suggests otherwise.
