  • Down to earth and inspiring stories!

Just listened to the episode about Asian Hustle Network and loved hearing the back story on how that community grew. The questions were all very interesting and loved the commentary. The meaning behind the why is such a great topic—I’m constantly figuring that out myself and feel like I’ve discovered my why too: building Amisplace, a private home-sharing community focused around the Asian community and creating a trusted network.

Q: Did you feel comfortable calling yourself an artist by that point?
Well, I had to. It's really foolish. But I guess when you're young, you feel this way. But when I was like 17 and 18, I was painting my first pictures and I had my studio on Fifth Avenue.
