Das Thema ist gut, der Podcast verliert sich aber in Gefühligkeiten, Stimmungen und Nebensächlichkeiten. Die Informationen zu Cohens Jugend und seiner Zeit auf Hydra sowie seiner Beziehung zu Marianne bleibt bis auf wenige unergiebige Szenen unerzählt. Die Rahmenbedingungen der Interviews (z.B. Uhrzeit in Kanada) und der englische Musiker sind völlig unerheblich. Der Podcast ist viel zu lang.

Inhalt und Dramaturgie sind gut gelungen. Viele Fakten sind selbst Hardcore-Cohen-Fans noch unbekannt. Leider ist die technische Umsetzung dieses Podcasts eine mittlere Katastrophe. Die VoiceOvers werden teilweise so stark vom Originalton überlagert, dass weder O-Töne, noch VoiceOvers verständlich sind. Die Erzählerin spricht oft undeutlich, um nicht zu sagen schlampig, sodass es mitunter sehr schwer ist, ihr zu folgen. Schade, wirklich schade.
