Listened to every episode, but that all came to a halt at Cringeworthy Episode #68. It should be retitled On the Water With A Xenophobic and Entitled American. Linus Wilson jumps right into a diatribe hating on Aussies and the Chinese. At one point in his story, I half expected him to say to the customs agents “don’t you know who I am?” Hate to break it to you dude, but you’re no one. Show some respect and know your audience.

While some episodes of the podcast do provide helpful tidbits and perspective on the cruising lifestyle, they end up being completely overshadowed by the episodes in which Linus rants for the entirety about not being given preferential treatment which, from the sounds of his almost unhinged, angry diatribes, he feels he deserves for being a “productive citizen” who can afford a “yacht“. Linus, give great practical details along descriptions of the many legs of his sail from Louisiana to the South Pacific. Including, crossings, anchorages, land/island points of interest.
