I just finished listening to this podcast all the way through. It’s wonderful! Ian is a great interviewer– thoughtful, inquisitive, and funny. It’s a gift that he took the time to get these insightful people to speak about Zen for posterity.
I have listened to each episode numerous times. I have learned so much. It is great to hear the experiences from others in Zen practice around the world.
Such a great zen podcast. I have learned so much. Thank Ian and Kwan Um for the providing this!
It’s a very well done podcast, enlightening and full of small precious gems. Sometimes the podcast strays a little bit and becomes a little boring; but that only happens when a guest and the host start reminiscing about people they knew. The podcast really shines when they talk about Buddhist philosophies and examples of it in life. Over all very well done.
I have binge listened to all of the podcasts and they are good and getting better. The focus is on practitioners and their experiences and teachings. It allows the listeners to see a variety of ways to approach the Dharma of The Buddha
