去る5月8日、星野学園小学校で幼児教室のための学校・入試説明会が開催されました。そのときの様子を報告いたしま～す。
昨年壁新聞コンクールで１位をとって、星野っこスピーチをしたウエルストリーム出身のあのM君。なんと今年は全国作文コンクールで最優秀賞をとり、星野っこスピーチをしました。素晴らしい。小６とは思えないくらい上手に朗読し、プレゼンをしていました。先生方、御母様の指導もさることながら、M君本人も相当努力されたことと思います。その積み上げていく努力が素晴らしいと思います。拍手喝采でした。
ビッグニュースです！あの開智小学校（開智学園総合部）が開校以来２０年以上続けて来た４４４制を６３３制に変えます。「えっ、どういうことですか？」「なぜ変えるのですか？」「新年度募集からでなく、現１～４年生もその影響を受けるのですか？」「セカンダリーがなくなるって本当ですか？」さまざま疑問が湧いてきます。無理もありません。つい最近まで「４４４制がとても良い制度で、異年齢学級が開智小学校の強所である」と説明会でもおっしゃていましたから。
