Kritisch will er sein, dieser Podcast und man muss ihm zugutehalten, dass er sich darum auch stets bemüht.
Dieses „Kritische“ jedoch fällt und steht mit den Gästen. Neben wahrhaftig kritischen Filmkritikern wie Wolfgang M. Schmitt und Lucas Barwenczik kommen jedoch auch sehr oft Gäste zu Wort, die Standpunkte einnehmen, die einen nur sehr eingeschränkten Blick auf den Film erlauben. Dies ist bisweilen sehr subjektivistisch und auch nervtötend.

Es werden hier jede Woche interessante Perspektiven auf aktuelle Filme eröffnet. Zudem eröffnet er Hintergründe zu den Filmthemen und lässt Bezüge zur Filmtheorie nicht zu kurz kommen. Der Moderator erdet die (teilweise wie ich finde hochtrabenden Kommentare) seiner Gäste sehr gut. Somit bleibt der Podcast recht leicht verständlich und bereit beim zuhören Freude.
