神奈川県川崎市にある「王禅寺四ツ田緑地」は、20年間放置されていた約7.1ヘクタールの森を再生・活用する拠点です。統括責任者の小川奈々代さんを中心に、ボランティアと協力して開拓を進め、伐採した木を薪や階段に利用したり、伸びたタケノコを使ったメンマ作りを行うなど、森の資源を循環させています。火・土曜の開放日には、焚き火や自然の恵みを活用した体験活動が提供されており、都市部で自然と触れ合える「秘密基地」として親しまれています。小川さんの取り組みについてぜひお聞きください。
