サム・ライミ監督の待望の新作がきました！
どっかで聞いたことがあるようなシチュエーションのお話でも映画職人サム・ライミの手にかかれば極上のエンターテインメントに！
小道具や台詞の使い方が本当に上手くて、画面に映る小さな変化や台詞が自然と気になってグイグイ映画に引き込まれていきましたし、脚本・演者・監督といったこの映画に関わったスタッフのレベルの高さに唸りました。
サム・ライミファンの皆様にはもちろん、極上のスリラーを味わいたい方にはぜひおすすめしたい作品です。

「マッドマックス 怒りのデスロード」とそのスピンオフ作品である「フィリオサ」の間に制作されたこの作品ではジョージ・ミラー監督の”物語論”がしっかりと刻まれているように感じました。

この映画、お客さんを楽しませようとする気持ちは微塵も感じないのですがそれは手を抜いているという意味ではありません。
いかにリアルに戦場を再現するかだけに注力された作品と言ってよいでしょう。
「アトラクション映画かな？」という気持ちで劇場にいくと後悔するかもしれません。

掛け値なしの大傑作と言ってしまいます。
今年ベストどころか個人的にはオールタイムベストクラスの映画となりました。
