おきブラ２回目のゲスト回！今回お招きしたのは、琉球藍研究所の嘉数義成さん。アパレルブランドLEQUIOデザイナーでもある嘉数さんが、琉球藍を自分達で栽培するようになった経緯について伺いました。これまでは、小さな工房で作家活動をする個人が細々と続けていた琉球藍染。原料作りのため、まずは畑を探したり、自生している苗を見つけに行くところから始めた話から、藍染に限らず伝統工芸にある課題についての話も。第三話にわたってお届けします。
