杉並区長 岸本さとこ（公式）杉並区長の岸本さとこ（岸本聡子）です。 1974年7月、5人きょうだいの二番目として生まれました。高校時代から環境問題や自治への関心を持っており、大学では環境課題について学びました。 オランダ・ベルギーで約20年間、公共政策の専門家として世界の自治体や市民運動を研究してきました。取り組んだテーマは、公共サービス・環境・人権・民主主義です。 2022年6月の杉並区長選挙にて住民の皆さんから76,743票を賜り、杉並区初の女性区長への道すじをつけていただきました。 就任後は「区民がまんなかの区政をつくる」という信念を掲げ、皆さんと共に新たな挑戦を始めました。さまざまな区民の声に向き合う対話の区政を進め、防災・防犯、子育て支援、高齢者福祉、まちづくりなど多くの政策が実現しました。 「対話の区政」では、異なる意見を持つ人同士が熟議することで民主主義を深化させること、すべての住民が「私が地元の主人公... more
