Since Nick’s departure, Michael has continued the podcast, now featuring guests from all walks of life on each episode to discuss films f... more

I do like this show. But the first 20 minutes is just strangers’ annoying banter unrelated to the topic. Just get to the movie!!
I truly love the idea of a movie shame list because we all have them. Michael and Nick have great chemistry and great opinions on the movies they review. Definitely recommend this one to all movie lovers!
I love listening to these guys talk about movies. They do a great job of explaining the film even if it is not one I've seen and they always make me laugh.
Michael and Nick’s passion for film cuts through in every episode. There are of course untold numbers of film related podcasts out there, but this one is special. Love the films they choose to highlight, and the criticism is always on point and from the heart. Also—Michael Viers makes for not only an incredible host but an incredible podcast guest as well, as he did on our own show Hard Out when he stopped by to talk about his all-time favorite flick HALLOWEEN.
Michael and Nick put on an excellent show! They do a great job digging deep into each film and their discussions are thoughtful, informed and a lot of fun. The production value is definitely a step up from most independent podcasts and I really appreciate the care and attention put into each episode. Listening to episodes discussing films I’ve already seen is my favorite way to consume SLPS, but even if I haven’t seen the film being discussed, I still enjoy those episodes a lot. The Millcreek an... more
These guys and their guests are fantastic. I love the running jokes and references. I haven't seen half of these films and the episodes make me want to go out and discover them.
It’s so much fun to listen to these guys talk about movies and I’ve discovered so many cool movies from this!
Great show about great stuff that you may be too ashamed to have missed the first time around. I know there has been more than one thing that I was not willing to tell folks I hadn't seen and knowing there were others made that easier in this pop culture driven society!
