A great exploration into various aspects of choral music. The approach is suitable for the completely inexperienced listener to a seasoned professional. An added bonus is the excellent musical clips and accompanying playlist.
Seraphic Fire has come up with a wonderful way to connect with a wider audience during this necessary hiatus from live performance. Each podcast episode has a different focus featuring many wonderful experts in a wide range of specializations. It’s an engaging and interesting listen for any lover of singing and choral music!
I love that Seraphic Fire has started this podcast to give fans and friends insight into everything from getting to know the artists, to hearing about different repertoire, or learning what it’s like to tour as an ensemble. Especially liked the episode 3 talking about contemporary music. Great podcast!
It's been very difficult for me to get excited about the choral arts since about mid-March. There's no shortage of wonderful music available for consumption, but it is extra nice to hear such passionate musicians talking about their craft.
