With fascinating, wildly creative characters and razor sharp dialogue, Second Fiddles is consistently funny, but also charming & evidently, from my listening history…moreish.

It's trope-y but in the best way. Everyone knows superhero tropes and cliches which gives them plenty of room to play around with listener expectations. Even if the delivery is a bit stiff, I enjoyed a lot of the characters: Sophia, Safety Blanket, and Invisi-dude are my favorites.
It's a bit rough around the edges. The dialogue can be somewhat overwrought and the comedy leans a little to heavily on inappropriate humor. The sound production is otherwise decent. The plot... more

I didn’t know what to expect from Second Fiddles, being a new podcast, but the more I listened the more I was drawn into the characters and their backstories. Sarcasm, puns, parody, and quippy humor are abundant and well-balanced with the seriousness of character relationships, feelings, and anxieties that are sure to resonate with listeners who have ever felt like they played second fiddle personally or societally. The writing is creative, real, and smirk-inducing.
