Those animating Scroll Reader are regifting great and forgotten Christian books to this generation. I am deeply grateful for their labors and investments that make these resources widely available now and into the future and in updated language.
I highly recommend the four podcasts that cover Hudson Taylor’s life. Deeply spiritual and encouraging, I suspect that it will strengthen your faith in the Lord as I have seen the biography do for others.
I found this app because I was looking for a specific book by E.M. Bounds. Not only did I find that book, Purpose of Prayer, but I also found a great young woman’s book, Was I Right?, and an awesome book called The Mother at Home by John Abbott that I have not only read but recommended to several already! It was like finding a huge treasure chest and, like someone else said, it’s hard to believe it is all free! And no ads!! Absolutely great!! I appreciate those who have made this possible!
Scroll Reader has been very valuable in my faith, giving encouragement, teachings, biographies, and other resources. And all this for free!! As an aid to daily Bible reading and prayer, could not recommend more.
This site is awesome, I was amazed with the content and functionality of the website but I couldn’t use the “back 30sec” that way. I won’t use Spotify and if you have children you might not want them to either! God Bless!
What a treasure! I can’t believe this is free. These stories are full of wisdom, and encouragement applicable to disciples of Jesus. I found the story of David Brainerd to be exceptional and it was extremely thought provoking. Thomas Hooker’s book is also a wealth of encouragement to any believers who may doubt.
