We’ve finally reached the batch of episodes where David quit watching Ultraseven. Is it because of the quality of the show, or was it burnout? And why in the heck haven’t we seen more Crazygon?! more

This is what you get when Rob from Tokyo Lives joins the Belial Buds: Mustaches. Motorcycles. Mullets. Monsters. ultraMEN. Too MANY jokes about buttholes. M's the word. Also, I just came up with Belial Buds. This needs to be a shirt. more
It only took roughly twenty episode descriptions for me to lose my creative steam. Maybe before this one goes live, I’ll come back to it. Maybe not. But hey! We’re talking about the King Joe two parter! more
With Kyle being such a WHOge Dr. Who fan, it only made sense to talk about the series and have him try to sell David on trying out the franchise again. Conclusion: it worked. Also on the table: Godzilla vs. Kong, MCU (surprise!), and what it’s like b... more

Godzilla and Ultraman have made a huge mark in my life, and it is so great to hear you guys pay proper respect to the mostly unknown hero known as Ultraman. Unlike other podcasts you guys appreciate Ultraman for what it is. You don’t constantly talk about the small mostly unnoticed flaws you bring real subjects to the table and always treat Ultraman how it should be treated. Thank you for making an amazing podcast. PS Can’t wait for the next episode!
Saved by the Belial takes hold of the Ultraman series (from Showa to New Gen Heroes) in a thoughful and analytic manner, not getting bogged down in Ultra-seriousness. Discussion of themes, symbolism, and fresh interpretations abounds, thankfully avoiding simple episode recaps. The gimmick of limiting the conversation on each episode to three minutes (the time span for a traditional Ultraman color timer) keeps the conversation focused and concise, eliminating the rambling and repetitiveness somet... more
Hi! I’m kinda new to Ultraman, I sort of knew of the hero when I was kid because my dad try to introduce me to the character, but at the time I was more of Power Rangers fan. I got interested back on Ultraman, when Netflix released their anime adaptation of the Manga. I liked the show and decided to watch the original Ultraman show too!!(along with starting the new marvel comic series, and the reboot manga. Yeah I kinda went all out haha). It’s also given me a new opportunity to bond with my ove... more
The hosts of the Kaiju Apostle Podcast have returned with a new show and it fires on all Spacium Beams. While these hosts inspired a direction of conversation for our own podcast in their prior show, their latest introduces a completely new format that still works to be thought provoking and aggressively funny. It hurts to say their current show is both more confident and more entertaining, but sometimes that's how the Chandora crumbles. The choice to move on to Ultraman with a fun, fresh format... more
With the death, absolute demolishment, complete eradication and cancellation of Kaiju Apostles the hosts decided to make a new podcast, better...stronger...ultraer... more
I really dig this show’s format. It works surprisingly well and keeps things moving. David and Chris also constantly crack me up with their banter and are even enlightening at times. I get excited every time a new episode drops. I gotta give them props for finally making me watch some of my Ultraman blu rays! This has been an entertaining and interesting companion piece to my Ultraman journey so far.
