  • Fantasy-less Fantasy BBall Pod

Fantasys mentioned about every other episode. Hosts are definitely not playing much fantasy bball Saying you didnt know who was available in your draft probably isnt a good look. al horford isn’t a “good value” in Rd.8 in 2023. 11/7/2/1/1 is a must roster fantasy line for a 12 team league. Not according to Steve Alexander. Maybe he plays points leagues(the kids table of fantasy).

Since it’s only a weekly pod, most of the season long advice like waiver pickup suggestions are too late to matter. ... more

Steve A is great. The new screamer guy is annoying and not collaborative with other FB guys. I’m close to being done with this pod. Better ones out there. This one has taken a dive

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fantasy Basketball: Must-Know Trends During Championship
Q: Neil asks thoughts on dropping Bam or Jamal Murray for Ayo Dosunmu given three games left for Ayo vs one for Bam/Murray.
The hosts lean toward the three-game value of Ayo Dosunmu, arguing that even two good games and one average one could outweigh Bam/Murray in a points league over the span of three games.
Fantasy Basketball: Must-Know Trends During Championship
Q: Federico asks for two good players to add for the weekend in ESPN points league.
They discuss D'Ang vs. rest-of-week options and consider streamers on low-volume days, suggesting players who can provide value across multiple games and pointing out that schedules will dictate whether to chase one strong game or multiple modest performances.
8 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 22
Q: Rezzy asked whether to target Cardwell, Tshiebwe, or Harkless for boards and steals, given lineup needs.
Harkless was favored for steady steals and reliable minutes, especially with recent starting assignments, over the more volatile rebounds from Cardwell or Tshiebwe.
8 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 22
Q: Geo asked which of Kevin Porter Jr., Emmanuel Quickley, or Bilal Coulibaly to drop given injuries and unclear timelines.
The panel suggested Coulibaly to hold as he has a clearer role, and discussed KPJ with caveats due to Milwaukee's struggles, while Quickley presents upside but with injury concerns; ultimately the decision should hinge on available options and the need for games played.
Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire: Pickups for FINAL WEEK
Q: Who should I prioritize for a two-week playoff format—Jay Huff for blocks or Brook Lopez?
Brook Lopez is the stronger option for blocks and overall steadiness; Huff has volatility and can be bench-risky, so prioritize Lopez if you need blocks in a late-week push.
