  • You Love Music, You’ll Love This Podcast

Dave was born in the middle of 80’s rock, and is more about it than me, and is more passionate about it than me. I listen to it while doing yard work, and before I know it the yard work is done, and I’m starting the next podcast. How he and Shane get the people they get, I don’t know. They get some huge names in the music industry.

Q: Do you think that's a bad thing that we're, because of technology, everybody's starting to play similar?
Somehow the music has changed and we listen to music differently. People are focused more on becoming social media stars than musicians.

The most tricky song on stage is Keeper 3, The King for a Thirteen Years. It has a lot of time and meter changes.

Q: How did your mindset shift to this project and your previous work?
My mindset shifted to focus on writing songs for friends to create a healing space, rather than aiming for hits.
#354 #IronMaiden’s #BruceDickinson Talks New Solo Works, Tour & Comics!
Q: Is getting older just a state of mind for you?
Yeah, it's a state of mind and a little bit more ibuprofen.
#354 #IronMaiden’s #BruceDickinson Talks New Solo Works, Tour & Comics!
Q: When you do your solo stuff, how do you go about picking a guitarist that you want to write with?
I tend to take people who I meet and kind of just get on with, it was a natural process.
