If we win, we look forward to a revamped tennis product with better governance that benefits all players and grows the industry.
Smashing the Status Quo: The PTPA Speaks Out
Q: What do you aim to get out of it?
We hope for a proper independent representation for players, a revamped tennis calendar, and an increase in prize money.
Coco Vandeweghe - From retirement to the show!!
Q: If you were the head honcho, what would you change about the game on the women’s side?
I would create a player union for better representation and security, especially for injuries, and protect young players traveling without proper oversight and support.
Coco Vandeweghe - From retirement to the show!!
Q: How was retirement? And was it a hard decision to sort of give up the game that obviously you love to play?
Retirement has been challenging, especially since I've been sick during my first week. However, it has opened up opportunities that tennis had previously taken away from me, such as spending time with family and attending personal events.
