Rachel Stevens - 20 Years of "Come And Get It" Part Two: 'So Good' and 'I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)'
Q: Did Rachel react in any way when she?
No, nobody did. Nobody reacted, so.
Rachel Stevens - 20 Years of "Come And Get It" Part Two: 'So Good' and 'I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)'
Q: Was there an original brief that went out for this album or how in general did you and Jewels & Stone end up becoming part of this Rachel's second album?
We were heavily involved with 19 at that point because previous to this, we'd signed a publishing deal, which meant that we knew whatever songs we'd write would be heard by management.
113: Pop producer Ian Masterson on Dannii Minogue, Geri Halliwell, Bananarama, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and more
Q: You mentioned you were involved in the music production of the 98 Unleashed Tour with Dannii, do you have standout memories from that?
Ian shares a memorable moment about meeting his husband during the last gig of the tour, which was a bonus show at a gay club in Cardiff.
113: Pop producer Ian Masterson on Dannii Minogue, Geri Halliwell, Bananarama, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and more
Q: Ian, please can we go right back to the beginning of your music journey? How did you get started in music? How did your music journey begin?
Ian describes his early interest in music production, the support from his parents, and how a chance meeting led him to produce tracks for Dannii Minogue, marking the start of his professional career.
86: "Reach for the Stars" with Special Guest & Author Michael Cragg | RBAY! Book Club
Q: How did the book come about? What inspired you to write this historical text?
There wasn't anything out there that really took this period of pop music seriously yet also in a fun way. I thought as much as people knew the big stories, they didn't know the smaller ones.
