「火災が多い中で構造物に木材を使うのは正解？」という、日本大学の学生さんの質問に、先週に引き続き答えて頂くのは、日本大学 生産工学部 建築工学科 専任講師 鎌田貴久先生。日本は木造建築において世界をリードしている・・・と思いきや、実は木造ビルにおいては、法律などの問題があって最近まで寧ろ遅れをとっていたとの事。海外においては古いレンガの建物の上部に新しい木造建築の部分を増築するなど、ユニークな試みが色々行われているらしく、未来のアーバン・スケープは今とはかなり変わったものになっていきそうです！
「火災が多い中で構造物に木材を使うのは正解？」という、日本大学の学生さんの質問に答えて頂くのは、日本大学 生産工学部 建築工学科 専任講師 鎌田貴久先生。ノルウェーやアメリカなどで高さ80メートルを超える高層建築が木材で造られるなど、実は今、木造ビルは世界的なブームとなっているそうです。しかし「火災は大丈夫？」「地震に耐えられるの？」など疑問は色々・・・これらの質問を鎌田先生に問いかけていきます！
前回に引き続き「良い曲を作る、作曲のコツを知りたい」という、日本大学の学生さんの質問に答えて頂くのは、世界が恋するシティ・ポップの旗手、作曲家の林哲司さん。世界を席巻している日本のCIty Popの代表曲の一つである杏里さんの『悲しみがとまらない』の意外な制作エピソードを語って頂きます。数多くの名曲を手掛けてきた林哲司先生が作曲を志す若者へのアドバイスは『大いに自惚れてみて下さい！』
