1868年7月17日（旧暦）、明治天皇の詔勅により
「江戸」から「東京」に改称されたことが由来との事。
ただ、10月1日の「都民の日」というものもあります。
こちらは東京市が成立した日（1898年10月1日）が由来だそうです。
東京には何年か住んだ事がありましたが、
東久留米市という埼玉県よりの所だったので、東京感は薄めでした。

60年前の1966年7月10日、杉並公会堂で開催された
「ウルトラマン前夜祭 ウルトラマン誕生」で
初めてウルトラマンがその姿を現しました。
1968年生まれの私にとっては、
リアルタイム初体験のウルトラマンは「帰ってきたウルトラマン」。
変身前の主人公で一番好きだったのはさわやかな東光太郎でした。
郷秀樹は子どもの頃の自分にはカッコよすぎたのかも。
今思えば、MATチームはおそろしくイケメン部隊だったなと思います。

『おばあちゃん役おじいちゃん役』。
お寄せいただいたメッセージに目を通すと、相当お若い頃から
年齢が上の役柄を演じられていた方が多い事に気付きました。
時代劇必殺シリーズにおける中村家の中村主水とお姑さんの中村せん。
主水を演じる藤田まことさんは1933年生まれ、
せんを演じる菅井きんさんは1926年生まれ。
7歳しか年齢が離れていないのですね。
