  • Always a Good Way to Cap Off Week

Love this show as a good way to recap the week on Friday night or Saturday morning. I appreciate the range of views between the three hosts. I am biased but would like a bit more pure market/technical commentary from Jeff. But I understand they want to fit in the economic and political components in 30-40 minutes and those pieces are related to markets.

RenMac Off-Script: Enough Bad to Be Good
Q: What's a good macro indicator to keep an eye on that represents a decent knock-cast?
There isn't a holy grail indicator; watching trend changes in employment, especially if there's a sudden drop in jobs, provides insight.

Q: How do you think about the overall health of the consumer when you factor in what housing and the car loan industry is saying?
There are signs of stress in certain areas and cracks in others, indicating a suboptimal outcome for consumer spending.
RenMac Legends Podcast with Michelle Meyer
