從經文的上文中得知，猶太人藉著修殿節，在聖殿的所羅門廊下堵到了耶穌。他們要求耶穌不要再逃避，希望祂可以直接當眾承認自己就是基督。我們看見猶太人好像真的開竅，他們似乎知道耶穌就是他們等候已久的基督。所以這時，內心發現，要耶穌當眾承認，以致他們可以全然順服的相信耶穌，跟隨耶穌嗎？確實不然，這個看似很正確的要求，其實背後充滿了重重的陰謀。這些猶太人其實並不是真心想知道主耶穌是否是彌賽亞，更不是想相信祂，而是他們就在此時，趁著節期，聖殿充滿了人的當下，想要再次企圖從主耶穌的話裡抓到告祂的把柄。

今天來到了第十章的最後一個段落。這段看起來與上文的羊圈的比喻毫無關係，可是其實使徒約翰還是要我們把焦點放回在羊圈的比喻上。因為耶穌還是針對這些敵對的猶太人強調，他們不是耶穌的羊，因為他們不信耶穌，更是不能接受耶穌。
“22在耶路撒冷有修殿節，是冬天的時候。23耶穌在殿裏所羅門的廊下行走。”
這段經文一開始就告訴我們，發生事件的場景。那就是發生在耶路撒冷的修殿節時期。說到“修殿節”這是一個怎樣的節日呢？修殿節也叫光明節，希伯來文稱為Hanukkah，中文意思是奉獻，奉獻什麼呢？奉獻聖殿（注1）... more
在《約翰福音》的第10章，我們找到了一段深受愛與奉獻精神激勵的經文。在這個段落裡，耶穌以牧者的形象自比，描繪了祂與祂的羊之間深厚的關係。
因著耶路撒冷已經被宗教領袖牢牢的掌控，全城的百姓猶如先知《以西結書》34章所說的那樣，人民被“假牧人”任意宰殺，剝皮，轄制。這些失去牧人的羊早已受傷，趕散，流離失所。因為現在在羊圈內的當家的，不再是神的真牧人，而是如同盜賊一般的假牧人。因此耶穌藉由《羊圈的比喻》的後段，給被壓制的人民，也就是破損羊圈的羊群帶來最後的盼望， 那就是耶穌自己要成為羊的好牧人，祂要... more
因著瞎子被醫治所引發的爭論，耶穌深知當下的耶路撒冷已經陷在被律法主義綁架的情況之下；就好像羊圈裡面進賊了一樣。所以耶穌為了回應這個困境，祂向群眾和法利賽人說出了這個羊圈的比喻。羊圈的比喻表面看起來是那麼的溫馨，因為比喻裡說出了，以色列民就如羊一般，被餵養，蒙保守。可是那個並不是當下的情況，因為以色列的羊圈目前是處在進賊的狀況。
